Fondly Fatal
~
A soothing flutter, faraway in memory,
Swirls upon the summer blue.
Flying in shadows, amidst a beauty of blooms,
I welcome love, as a dove of hue.
~
With a flight of liberty, it dwells deep in fantasy,
Falling for every neurotic fallacy.
It overcomes all boundaries, all extremities conquered,
Leaving a senseless sensation with doubting luxury.
~
'Cause love is fondly fatal. . .

Drivin' it

"Feeling the wind in my hair, I drive into oblivion. I know I own the roads, at least at this moment. The world is my playground and I am the horserider with my 1600 horsepower carriage"
This, I am going to say in about six months time. Imagine the liberty!
Once upon a time...

Once upon a time...
Two seperate beings, they were.
They met once,
And that was all that was needed.
Their eyes met, they acknowledged,
They shared moments of egotistic nonchalance.
There was a strange attraction, they knew,
Yet, they didn't know how.
~
Words exchanged, though scarce,
Led them to one realisation;
They came from separate worlds.
He lived in a world that revolved around creativity and freedom.
She believed in maintaining an assuring mundane-ness in her life.
He was a risk-taker.
She stayed away from change.
They knew they were poles apart.
~
Directions changed,
Never a word exchanged again.
They lost touch.
~
Years passed, and the distance grew miles apart.
One fateful day, they chanced upon each other.
Eyes met, a tint of familiarity gleaming in each.
She smiled, unsure,
And took a sip of her coffee indifferently,
He smiled, uncertain,
And just could not take his eyes off her.
~
Moments flew, and he approached her,
They exchanged greetings,
Then, he said, "I've seen you before."
And familiarity seeped in.
It just clicked.

JRQ Prod™: Nach Tu Mere Naal
Jayroquil brings you another production once again. My first attempt at writing a song that's 75% Punjabi, a language that seems a little too difficult for me to talk. So bare with me.
Verse 1:
Har club vich disda mundeya rang ni tera vakhra
(In every club, boy, I see a different side of you)
Kaiyaan da tainu vekhke dil taan gya lutiya
(Looking at you, many hearts have been stolen)
Cha'ah naal koi hathna chaaunda, hath naa tethon sakda
(If by wish someone wants to, they can't move away from you)
Kuriyaan nu mari jaanda hai mundeya tera nakhra
(Boy, your attitude kills all the girls)
Tu kohl mere ni aa sohneya
(Come close to me)
Banadey dil vich raah sohneya
(Make a way for me in your heart)
Hath pharke le ghumaa sohneya
(Hold my hand and swing me around)
Aj nach tu mere naal
(Dance with me tonight)
Bridge 1:
Rocking all the parties at the Ministry
Mixing up the sounds for a little of that crank-ing
You've got the beats to thank
Watching all the girls now do their thing
Step up to form, just do your round
It's about time you break it down
Verse 2:
Club de chakaraan te kudiyaan vich dil tera da rachna
(Heart's interest lying in clubbing and girls)
Bhangre de mundiyaan naal aas-paas tera turna
(Hanging around with the bhangra boys)
Bar de saamne bethey tera git-pit karde hasna
(Sitting in front or the bar, your talking and laughing)
Kudiyaan di galaan karni, ohna val fir takna
(Talking about girls and looking at them)
Akh naal akh milaa sohneya
(Why don't you look into my eyes)
Tu dil te dera paa sohneya
(Get a hold of my heart)
Tu hi banja mera sohneya
(Be my darling)
Aj nach tu mere naal
(Dance with me tonight)
Bridge 2:
From the clubs and party-jumping to the V.I.P.
Aft' the club, into the night, I want you holding me
Like the way you burn the floor
A killer on loose in an undercover
All set to go on your 2M ride
Now all we gotta do is break the ice.
Verse 3:
Singh adaavaan, Shehri sajaavaan, aag dilaan vich machdi
(Singh habits, City-slicker, hearts burn in desire)
Kohl aaoun di, dil tadpaaoun di, soch vich har kudi pehndi
(To come close to you and to attract you, each girl thinks about it)
Shard lagaaley, mundeya, tainu takdi eh sharmaaoundi
(You can bet, boy, each girl shys away with one glance)
Tu mera maahi banja, dil vich tainu kehndi
(Just be mine, she says silently to you)
Hasda tu kamaal sohneya
(Your laughter's beautiful)
Mere dil tu le gaya sohneya
(You took my heart away)
Chad tu har nakhra sohneya
(Leave out your attitude)
Aj nach tu mere naal
(Dance with me tonight)
A Sinful Play

A Sinful Play
Bowling through the darkness of wrath,
I rest with a heavy chest, heaving a sigh.
Manifesting fury has left me, once again,
With a guilty trail of cries.
I wonder why pride came my way,
An armour I held close to heart.
No reason for me to be friends with envy,
Distincting myself from others apart.

One life; live it

One life; live it successfully
In view of the not-so-recent incidences when, many a times, furor or grieve was in play, we missed out on the simpler truths of our lives that we have always been surrounded by. In such instances, we have always looked beyond the positive aura in our ourselves or the person next to us, heading for the grimness that bites away our happiness and serenity.
Is it worth the time to have grudges against ourselves?
Is it worth the effort to avenge a misdeed? They say, the one who forgives obviously has a great heart and in this terms is a bigger human being.
In the first place, why do we even let unimportant people kill us inside, why do we let them hurt us?
Why do we let them be hindrances in our living life the way it is?
Because Life isn't really as bad as it seems.
An ariticle states, "the most important principle is to believe in yourself and the secret is to fill your minds with thoughts of faith, confidence and security. This will force out or expel all thoughts of doubt, all lack of confidence." It's all in us. We make life the way it is. We need to believe in ourselves, our capabilities to live life the way it is. Why do we even let others dig out our faith and confidence, why do let them affect us so much?

I came across another article that stated ways we could really live successfully.
Steps to live life successfully
1. Never doubt you can succeed.
When doubts come in to play, they will kick away the confidence that would have given you some reason to live life. In order to continue living, stamp indelibly on your mind a mental picture of yourself as succeeding. And hold this picture tenaciously. You can't ever permit it to fade. Never doubt the reality of the mental image, because doing so is dangerous. Overtime, your mind will change this bogus image into reality.
2. Leave out negativity and hold on to positivity
Whenever a negative thought come into mind, deliberately voice a positive thought to cancel it out.
3. Don't ever let fear get a hold of you
Don't ever build up obstacles in your imagination. Minimize every so-called obstacle. There will be difficulties that must be efficiently dealt with to be eliminated, but they must be seen only for what they are. They must not be inflated by fear thoughts.
4. Don't compare your life to others.
Do not be awestruck by other people and try to copy them. Nobody can live your life as efficiently as YOU can. Remember also that most people, despite their confident appearance and demeanor, are often as scared as you are and as doubtful of how correctly they are living their lives.
5. "If God be for us, who can be against us?"
Have faith in God and believe that all that he does is to test our faith in him. We should always remember him and not just in sorrow.
If we follow the stated ways, wouldn't we cancel out all the unnecessary negativity that stops us from enjoying every moment of the life we lead?
