Does the person's past matter as much as his present?

Major update!

FYP ended finally! (it ended like 2 weeks ago…too lazy to update) and finally got to catch up on so many things:
- handling an mpv (that’s wicked hard)
- watching movies released ages ago
- preparation for school in feb
And some other stuff I can’t remember…
Talking about school, it’s recommended that when we are there, we stay within the campus after hours, which is like
6pm (how crappy is that). And what’s funny still, late night shopping there is extended only till
9 or 10. Wow!?! How to spend the evenings?
And in days to come, shit, I am turning
19…gonna be like all the “old farts” (as mentioned by a11y. LoL). The age 18 is just so exhilarating…19 is just old. 20+ is what sia. LoL. Ok, major exaggeration. I’m Indian what – stereotypically, it runs in the blood.
Anyways, excitement over graduation is brewing like tea boiling at 200 degrees, with the whole out-of-the-country idea appealingly flavoring it. Who doesn’t get excited over the fact that after 19 years of living in an Asian society, we get to break away from this conservative country? (so much for sense of belonging and loyalty to the nation. LoL). But jokes aside, it’s the whole idea of gaining a different sort of experience that is the pulling factor, not so much of running away from home.
Life’s accelerating too fast? I don’t think so. It’s like let’s just get it done with. Period.
Who am I waiting for? Nobody. So why dilly dally with the studies innit?
Which reminds me; I can’t believe I actually believe in open relationships. All this while, I thought, maybe, I prefer things differently but it boils down to one thing: I ain’t ready for any sort of commitment with anyone
else. In fact, I have a tendency to shun away from such stuff. This thought was sparked when the topic was being discussed in school and it just dawned on me. It feels weird.
And babe, it's alright with what you did. As long as it feels right, you're on the right path. :)
