main shaayar to nahin, magar ae haseen . . .
Verse 1
I can’t believe it, girl
You’ve been making me sound like I was cynical
Desperate to push you out of my sleazy world
Which you openly claimed just wasn’t love
And you told your crew,
Exaggerating everything that you’ve been through
Getting every brainwashed soul just to side you
Tell me why’d you want to erase the truth
Chorus
Come on, girl, it ain’t right
Why’d you pretend it doesn’t matter
Stick to the truth, it ain’t right
When you try change the chapter
Since I’d walked away, walked away
Since I’d walked away, walked away
Verse 2
Almost everyday,
I’m checking your space and all you ever say
That you’ve fallen deeper for me since I went away.
Keeping track of me like I’m ever going to stay.
What this hypocrisy?
Changing stories whenever you get to talk about me
Acting on your space like this’ always meant to be.
Yet making a fuss for all to see.
Chorus

Zindagi, Pal Do Pal ki Mehmaan
Jiske saath humne kabhi guzaarey hai yeh pal
Woh meherbaan rahe ya naa rahe aaj kal
Dil ki baat kehdo zara jisse hai pyaar bara
Lagne do sab ko pataa, mann kya kehnaa hai chahtaa
Gilon-shikvon se sab naatey zaroor thodh dena
Ek baar, apnon ko pyaar se gale lagaa lena
Zindagi yeh hai jeene ke liye, jeeyo zara tum khulke hi
Kab na jaane choote yeh haath se, thaam naa paayenge tab hi
With whom I have spent countless moments,
I’d never know if that kindheart would exist tomorrow.
To your loved ones, express you heartfelt emotions,
Let everyone know what resides in your mind.
Break any bonds with negativity,
Once, just hug your kin lovingly.
Life is meant for living, live it fully.
You would never know when you’ll lose it and never get it back.
Many of us have lost our loved ones in strange turns of events. Sometimes, it leaves us shaken; sometimes, it makes you ponder how brittle that thin line seperating life from death is.
As quoted by my mother, and many world-reknown saints, "Saari zindagi asi paise paise karde rehnde, paise peechey bhajde. Asi bhavish lai kadey eh banaaonde, kadey oh bachaunde. Injh karde karde, poori zindagi nang jaandi. Jadhon saada waqt aounda, taan oudhon asi saade naal kuch vi leke nahi jaana. Phir asi eh kyun karde?"
(Our whole life, we talk and walk money. Just money. We plan so much for the future, making and saving for our needs and wants. Doing this, we pretty much spend our whole lives. And when our time comes, what we made, what we saved, won't be lugged on when we depart. So why do we do this?)
Cruising in the dead of the night, hands on the wheel, eyes on the road, all throughout. . .
Plus point: With the fam!
If you put in too much, you get deceived.
If you put in too little, you get tormented.
You decide.
"It was but yesterday I thought myself a fragment quivering without rhythm in the sphere of life. Now I know that I am the sphere, and all life in rhythmic fragments moves within me."
Kahlil Gibran
Alex is here!!!!!!!!!
Imagine waiting what seems like a lifetime for something that eventually, upon attainment, shatters you. It definitely defeats the purpose.
Leaving one lost, burdened, neglected, disturbed and weak.
