This may be totally random, but for some reason, I managed to write a short song, like finally. . .It's been like ages since. . .But anyway, this is the brainchild of a sleep-deprived insomniac. . .produced at 1 in the morning. . .Classic madness.
Oh, and it's unnamed 'cause I can't think of anything suitable.
Never had I seen this before,
Two egos at war,
Amongst butterflies
Moments of contempt, hate and lies,
Those nights with teary eyes
Where’s the love gone to hide?
There was a time he’d get 12 roses and a jewel
And celebrate mini anniversaries.
She wonders why now destiny’s been so cruel,
Replacing truth with those memories of him
If he’d told the truth,
She wouldn’t have hurt so much and cry to sleep, questioning destiny.
If she’d say it’s off,
He would have dealt with it, wouldn’t confess to lies or his infidelity.
Never has her life felt so dreary
Her nights, so lonely
Each moment’s a pain.
Hardly any emotion of grief
Nor notions of regret
Her ego keeps her at bay
There was a time, he’s go out his way to see her smile,
Tending to her every need per say
She wonders why its so hard to come to terms,
When he’s going but wanting him to stay
If he’d told the truth,
She wouldn’t have hurt so much and cry to sleep, questioning destiny.
If she’d say it’s off,
He would have dealt with it, wouldn’t confess to lies or his infidelity.
